[Pre-Order] The Django Pick

$35.00

Note: Pre-orders ship out on January 20th.

For over 20 years, my good friend Jokko Santing has been crafting some of the finest Gypsy Jazz picks by hand under the name Manouche Picks in Holland. Jokko isn’t just a master artisan—he’s a cornerstone of the Gypsy Jazz community and an all-around great guy.

Recently, Jokko shared some exciting news: he’s transitioning from pick-making to focus exclusively on developing top-tier pickups. Before stepping away, he asked if I’d be interested in continuing to produce the picks he’s developed. Needless to say, I was deeply honored to take on this responsibility.

The first offering is the Django Pick, a remarkable piece of Gypsy Jazz history. Crafted using Jokko’s exclusive material, this pick is a faithful replica of one of Django Reinhardt’s original picks. Years ago, Jokko had the privilege of meeting one of Django’s relatives at a festival in France. They entrusted him with original picks preserved from Django’s collection and asked him to recreate them. The result is a pick that precisely replicates Django’s original bevel, thickness, and shape.

Price is per pick.
