MM1 Pick
This pick was developed in close collaboration with mandolin virtuoso Mike Marshall, aka "Gator." The MM1 pick is the result of an 8-month journey, with countless iterations sent to Mike’s home in Wuppertal, Germany. Mike’s feedback on different materials, subtle size variations, and rounded edges helped shape this pick into what it is today. Designed to complement the naturally bright tone of the mandolin, the MM1 pick uses a black thermoplastic material that delivers a darker, more articulate sound with a balanced presence in the mids and high-end.

Crafted to be 1.5mm thick with a rounded edge, the MM1 features my Shape H design, which you can compare to a quarter here. The “MM” engraved on the front was penned by esteemed calligraphy artist John Stevens of North Carolina.

MM2 Pick
For those moments when Mike Marshall wants a softer sound, he reaches for the MM2 pick. Slightly refined from the original MM1, the MM2 pick is made from a white plastic, and maintains the same 1.5mm thickness and rounded edge, without a right or left-hand bevel.
