"milk cow" casein picks
These picks are made from vintage casein (pre-1970.) Unfortunately, there is no casein is being made that looks like anything like this anymore. So once the material is gone, it's gone. I have the last remaining limited supply of this stuff, and I’ll be able to make picks with it for at least a little while.
They are mostly white (with subtle stripes) on one side, and mostly black on the other... and sometimes they kinda look like the side of a Holstein cow. Each one comes out a little different, and to me, that is part of the beauty. Like any of the casein picks here in the store, these have a tortoiselike sound with a little more “warmth” and a lot less pick-noise.
I can make these with either a right/left hand bevel, or a standard rounded edge. There is no extra cost for that. If you do want a right/left hand bevel please make a note of it in the “notes” section of the checkout page. If you don’t mention anything it will be made with the standard rounded edge.
